Mountains Movement

Modern Geological Understanding has established that continents and mountains are not static but are constantly moving. This movement is due to the tectonic plates on which they sit. These plates move very slowly but persistently over the Earth's molten mantle, a process known as "continental drift" or "plate tectonics." 

Here's what the Quran states 1400 years ago:

[Quran 27:88]

"You see the mountains and think they are firmly fixed: but they are moving away just like the clouds are moving away: (such is) the artistry of Allah [God], Who disposes of all things in perfect order: for He knows all what you do."

Have they not travelled throughout the land to see what was the end of those before them? [35:44]
