Collection: Shape of The Universe

The current understanding among scientists is that the observable universe, which is the portion of the universe that we can see from Earth, appears to be roughly spherical in shape. You may also independently confirm it by conducting a google search.

Here's what Quran States 1400 Years ago:

Surah: Ar-Rahman

Verse: 33

يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَنْ تَنْفُذُوا مِنْ أَقْطَارِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ فَانْفُذُوا ۚ لَا تَنْفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلْطَانٍ

O assembly of jinn and men! If you have power to pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, then pass beyond [them]. But you shall never be able to pass them, except with extraordinary power.

 "Aktar أَقْطَارِ" means diameters. Diameter is strictly property of circles or spheres. Since Earth and the heavens have diameters then the according to the Quran Earth and the observable universe are spheres. Man on Earth and the jinn in the heavens see the observable universe as a sphere.
