Pharaoh — Body Preserved as a Sign
Modern Discovery
The body of Pharaoh was uncovered in Egypt in 1898. Today, his body is preserved and displayed in the Royal Mummies Hall at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Cairo.
Key Historical Facts
Pharaoh enslaved the Children of Israel, mocked the signs of Allāh, and declared:
“i am your lord, the most high!”
(Qur’ān 79:24)
For his arrogance, Allāh drowned him in the sea before his army. Unlike others, his body was preserved — not as an honor, but as a warning.
This corpse is a living testimony to the truth of the Qur’ān.
Qur’ānic Revelation 1400 years ago
“Today We will preserve your body so you may be a sign for those after you. And indeed, most people are heedless of Our signs.”
(Qur’ān 10:92)
Their Punishment
“So We seized him and his soldiers and threw them into the sea. See then what was the end of the wrongdoers!”
(Qur’ān 28:40)
Why this is a miracle:
For over 1,400 years, this verse stood unchallenged.
"We will preserve your body" (10:92)
Today, millions literally pass by his body, witnessing a living sign of Allāh’s word.
A Challenge for Anyone Reading
Allāh declared over 1,400 years ago:
“Today We will preserve your body, so you may be a sign for those after you.”
(Qur’ān 10:92)
His body is still preserved — exactly as Allāh said. If it were gone, the Qur’ān would be proven false.
Your challenge: Erase this body from the sight of mankind if you can.
But you cannot — because Allāh Himself preserved it as a sign.
And your other option? To erase the verse from the Qur’ān.
But you cannot do that either:
“None can change His words.” (Qur’ān 6:115)
“He shows you His signs, so which of Allāh’s signs will you deny?” (Qur’ān 40:81)
“i am your lord, the most high!”
His body still stands today — exactly as the Qur’ān declared 1,400 years ago.
So We seized him and his soldiers, casting them into the sea. See then what was the end of the wrongdoers!
And on the Day the Hour will be established ˹it will be said˺, “Admit Pharaoh’s people into the harshest punishment ˹of Hell˺.” (40:46)
